Creating family and community safety takes more than a single agency. It requires a coordinated, community-wide effort.
That is why One Safe Place facilitates the Tarrant County Council on Family Violence, a network of agencies and professionals working together to end family violence across Tarrant County. Through the Council, social service providers, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations share data, align responses, and strengthen prevention efforts.
By leading this collaboration, One Safe Place helps ensure survivors receive consistent, compassionate care wherever they seek help. The Council meets regularly to promote trauma-informed best practices, provide professional training, and identify emerging community needs. When systems communicate, families find safety faster and communities grow stronger.
