Tarrant County Domestic Violence Resources

Tarrant County Resources for Domestic Violence | One Safe Place in Fort Worth

One Safe Place (located at 1100 Hemphill St.) is what’s known as a Family Justice Center. The US Department of Justice established FJC’s in an effort to unite public servants in the struggle against domestic violence, family abuse, and more across America’s towns and cities.

Fort Worth is a leader when it comes to getting justice for those suffering from violence or abuse, which is why our Family Justice Center assembled under the One Safe Place umbrella is here to help.

One Safe Place serves Tarrant County, with a satellite office located at GRACE in Grapevine. So if you or a loved one is located in any of the following, we’d love to help: Fort Worth, Dunbar, Haltom City, Camp Bowie, Ridglea, Westover Hills, White Settlement, Jacksboro Highway, Hawk’s Creek, and more.

CRIME STOPPERS (Tarrant County) - www.469tips.com

Crime Stoppers Tarrant County isn’t a substitute for calling 9-1-1, but provides a network of safety after emergency services address an issue, or to prevent something from reaching them in the first place.

If you are aware of criminal activity, fugitives, or are afraid that something could occur in public or on a college campus, Crime Stoppers is able to address those concerns and more.

Best of all, Crime Stoppers makes anonymous tip sharing easy and secure. You can keep your family and neighborhood safe by using their app, website, or calling them at 817-469-8477.

SAFE CITY TRAINING (Fort Worth) - www.onesafeplace.org/training

Safe City Training is designed to maintain important skills and development for the residents of Fort Worth. While we aren’t all involved in law enforcement or emergency services, each of us can do our part to ensure the security of our friends and neighbors.

When non-essential meetings are permitted to resume, Safe City Training will feature the Alliance For Children’s presentation on Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, which is open to anyone in FW, near TCU, UTA, and more.

CAMP HOPE AMERICA (Texas) - www.camphopetexas.org

Camp Hope Texas works in partnership with One Safe Place to give young aged victims of domestic violence a one week camping adventure to experience relief from any troubles they may have faced in their homes.

When it comes to domestic abuse, children are significantly impacted, even if they are not the ones suffering physical violence. Camp Hope expertly provides these kids an avenue to be themselves and enjoy new experiences outside of their home situations.

In doing so, Camp Hope strives to break the generational cycle of violence in domestic and non-domestic criminal situations.
