1. CALL US OR VISIT OUR OFFICE FOR A CONSULTATION
Some individuals feel that an in-person consultation is best, while others prefer to call us at the time of their choice. Whichever you decide based on your situation, know that you’ll receive the top level of care from our staff.
The City of Fort Worth, as well as all of Tarrant County and North Texas, is committed to ending domestic abuse in all its forms, and that effort takes the form of constant vigilance and support anywhere that the issue rears its head.
We know that while each situation of family abuse is complicated, that our specialists have seen many forms, and know which solutions may be the most effective. We’ll work tirelessly to make sure that we find the best result for you and your family. And that all begins with short term assistance.
Our phone number is 817-916-4323 and our office is located at 1100 Hemphill St. in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside District, near popular eateries like Heim BBQ and Paris Coffee Shop. In addition, we have another office located in Grapevine at 837 E. Walnut St., near DFW Airport North, the Grapevine Botanical Gardens, and the Gaylord Hotel.
You can now visit our offices between 8am and 6pm (or 9-5 at the GRACE Grapevine location).
2. IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE
While the most common forms of short term help could take a monetary form, our staff can specify assistance to suit your immediate needs, while additional staff consider longer term solutions. So, frequent solutions for short term assistance look like housing, food, and law enforcement. But the list goes on, and no matter what needs you may have, we can likely provide for them, especially in the current moment.
We know that some situations of domestic abuse develop slowly, while others can happen very quickly, so whether immediate help or future assistance is what you seek, we can provide for you, whether you’re located centrally to Fort Worth, in suburbs like Lake Worth, Camp Bowie, or Dunbar, or rural areas like Cleburne, Watauga, or Eagle Mountain.
One Safe Place wants to begin by making sure that you and your family are safe. That means we’ll connect you to law enforcement or social service agencies in our office network, who can provide stability should you decide to remain in your place of living. Additionally, One Safe Place can provide immigration services, legal assistance, and housing assistance.
3. ONGOING SOLUTIONS
For both urgent circumstances and longer term concerns, One Safe Place is committed to crossing the finish line when it comes to your situation, even if that means years of hard work and supervision.
Domestic violence can end a number of ways, and we’ll work with you to ensure the best possible outcome for both you and your family. That can mean any number of options, including counseling and rehabilitation, separation and job skills support, or law enforcement intervention and legal services.
